INTRODUCTION

Well as a matter of fact, when i discover great projects, i like comparing them with existing ones.
for a project to be great, it must have an idea that has the power to supersede that of present ideas.
Well sphere is nothing less than JUST GREAT!
PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE
In this article, i will be making comparison between sphere and facebook and why we could see millions of users becoming adopters of sphere in 1–2 years from now
oh wait! -BEFORE THE COMPARISON BEGINS
Let me brief you about sphere — in a few sentences
Sphere is more than just a social network. sphere is returning the privacy of our data back to us — the privacy that other social networks have long deprived us of. Sphere is giving us the power to earn from sharing our data and not just allowing some big guys get hold of our data without our knowledge.
Sphere will be able to do this with the power of blockchain technology!
COMPARISON BETWEEN SPHERE AND FACEBOOK
Well it is no doubt that facebook is the favorite social network of users currently. But are they being fare to users? Can sphere solve the problem of lack of fairness and transparency?. well read on and find out

1) TRANSPARENT DATA MANAGEMENT

Loads and loads of our facebook data are delivered to facebook server every day. they sell this information to companies without Asking permission from the user and without any gains in the part of the owner! Is this right? Well, i suppose not!
Sphere gives you the rights to take control over the privacy of your data. you share what you choose to share and you gain from the data you share. this transparency is made possible through blockchain technology!

2. INTERNAL CURRENCY

Advertisers and users have for long had a problem of easy carry-out of transactions on facebook platform. to carry out any transactions such as payment of ads placements, users have to introduce external sources, trustworthy or not. this tend to increase risk while jeopardizing the satisfaction of users!
Sphere introduces the Social activity token (SAT). this will be the internal currency of sphere. this currency will enable users and to carry out transactions without the need of a third party. in fact users are in total control of all their transactions within the sphere social network and not leaving their transactions in the hands of third parties such as credit card, paypal etc. click here for more information.

3 FACEBOOK HAS A CENTRALIZED POINT OF FAILURE UNLIKE SPHERE.

facebook control the data of users, flow of informatioin and operational activities from a single unit. users are directly under control of this unit. if this single unit is ever compromised, that will be the end for facebook. why? because everything is directed towards facebook servers — it is centralized! which means taking Facebook servers down means the entire facebook is going down!
However, sphere can’t be taken down. why? because it is not controlled by a single entity! there is no server to take down! data in sphere will be distributed among the blockchain independently. hence even if one part of the blockchain is taken down, the other will still be available to run sphere effectively!
